Neon Blue Productions ("we", "us") is a sole trader business based in Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what your rights are. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
When you complete a form on this website, we collect your name, email address, and — where you provide them — your phone number, indicative budget, and the details of your project.
When you email or call us, we hold the contents of that correspondence.
When you visit the site, our website provider collects standard analytics data including approximate location, device type, browser, pages visited and time spent. This is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
If you engage us for work, we will also hold the information needed to deliver and invoice that work.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to prepare quotes, to deliver work you have commissioned, to issue invoices and keep accounting records, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interest for responding to enquiries, contract for work we deliver, and legal obligation for accounting records.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
Client records: for the duration of the project and for six years afterwards, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Analytics: as retained by our website provider under their standard settings.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing.
We use Squarespace to host this website and process form submissions, and Zoho Mail for email. Both act as processors on our behalf and hold data under their own privacy terms. Where a project requires it, we may share limited details with a contracted crew member or subcontractor, who are bound to confidentiality.
Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers have in place.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in portable form.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
